About the Journal

The Scientific Journal of Astrobiology is the first Peruvian scientific journal dedicated to astrobiology. It is biannual in a continuous publication format, offering two editions per year with high-quality content. Published in digital format, the journal is accessible to a global audience, facilitating the dissemination of knowledge without geographical barriers, therefore, we also accept manuscripts in English. Its funding comes from members of the Peruvian Association of Astrobiology, whose contributions ensure the continuity and excellence of the publication.

The main objective of the journal is the dissemination of knowledge related to astrobiology, covering a wide range of disciplines, including the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. This transdisciplinary connection allows for the exploration of astrobiology from multiple perspectives, fostering a holistic understanding of life in the universe and its relationship with humanity.

Additionally, the journal strives to promote dialogue and collaboration among researchers, academics, and professionals from various fields, thereby contributing to the advancement and dissemination of astrobiology within the scientific community and beyond.
